The Action Potential Scheme

This topic pops up a lot when talking about the nervous system. It is this action potential that allows us to have any sort of feelings in our senses! No kiddin’. So, I hope this will help it stick in your mind!

Our neurons work by an all or nothing method. This means, the action potential is either relaying info to and from your central to your peripheral nervous system and vice versa. I felt silly after realizing what I thought would be water soluble, wasn’t. So, I decided to look into finding a general rule to go by and lucky me, I found info on that as well as their exceptions.
