Hi, I've been trying to figure out why my greet box is broken for the last day and a half! I'm successfully using it on one of my sites, http://achefsdaughter.com, but I can't get it to work *in Firefox* on my other site, http://www.chiagu.com. It works fine in IE, but nothing shows up in Firefox.

Both sites have the exact same settings, themes, plugins, options, and the greet box is manually inserted in the exact same place. The only difference between the two sites is one uses a "page" framework and the other uses a "full width" framework, but I've tested this by changing A Chef's Daughter to full-width and the greet box still worked there, so I know that's not the problem . . .

Any insight?

Whoops! Lost this post in the forum.  Sorry about that.

Hm... I'm not sure why it's doing that.  It might be good to try to export the working site's WP Greet Box settings and import them into the non-working site and retry it in Firefox.

i am getting a different scenario with this on firefox and IE..

on firefox, a 4 paragraph error comes out after the greeting:

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, [no address given] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

However, on IE, that error does not appear.

can you please look into that?

It sounds to me like some kind of .htaccess file issue.  If you are not using a cache plugin, try disabling compatibility with caching plugins to see if it works for you.

There you go, that worked.. i just unclicked the option

Enable compatibility with cache plugins  (If check, WP Greet Box will use Javascript to load the greeting message)

it is now doing good with FireFox.

FF 3.5.5 NO GO!

Nor does it work w/ Chrome...

Please help... it used to work on all browsers before the upgrade... now only IE.  I love your plugin and it's help grow my rss feed... please help me with a fix for this.
