My WPGreet box which was working fine disappeared after upgrading automatically.

Eg url: http://indiangirlsclub.com/pakistani-fashion/

Using wp-greet box below the post title.
Imp: NOT inserted manually.

wordpress version: 2.8.5

Pl help.

I'm really very sorry to trouble you again ...

I got the 5.5.2 upgrade and it worked good.

But after upgrading All in One Seo Pack this morning,
again my Beautiful WpGreet Box disappeared.

I de-actived all in one seo pack plugin, still wpgreet box didn't show up.

I am having this same issue.  Greetbox disappeared, then reappeared when you did the great fix, and now, today, I am having a disappearing greetbox issue in firefox, but not IE.  I checked other places in the forum and then unchecked the caching plugin option and that still does not work.  I just upgraded to newer firefox, could this be it?  I use the headway theme but that has not changed.

UPDATE:  This seems to only show when not logged in despite the "show to logged in users" being checked

  Yes... it's happened to my blog too!  When I upgraded to WP2.85 (now running 2.86) and upgraded WPGreetBox to 5.5.2... it broke!

Please help.

I deactivated it, reactivated it, and still no greetbox... any other suggestions?  I have All in one seo, but I deactivated that too and still nothing.

FYI... I just checked... It WORKS in IE8 (in compatibility view).... IT DOES NOT work in FF or Chrome.

Works fine on your site.  As best I can tell it has something to do with being logged in and the "show greetbox to logged in users" setting not working.

does not show up.  If you want the message to show up for logged in users, are you sure you have "Show greeting message to logged in users" checked in WP Greeet Box settings?

Yes, I am sure.  I just double checked.  Not a huge deal as I am the only admin so not a huge issue.  I would like to know how to fix it though

That's odd, can you attach an export of your wp greet box settings?  I want to see if the setting has "show_logged_in" set to "1" or not.  I'll relook at the code in the meantime.

Nevermind, I think I've found the problem. It was a typo in one of the if-statements.  Funny how one letter can screw up a whole function .  Just checked in 5.5.4.  Please give it a shot when it's available on plugins.wordpress.org.
