Hi,
I tried installing WP Minify, and everything seemed to work except there is a conflict with Kimili Flash Embed. I tried excluding javascript for swfobject, kfe and css for generator, as those are the files in the Kimili css and js folders.

No dice.

Is the problem that those files did not get excluded from minify or is there something else that is conflicting?

Well, I'm not sure if I can tell-- but I would guess it's a conflict. What happens is that when Minify is activated, Kimili no longer executes it's own shortcode-- instead just spitting out the code onto the page. It's the same output you get from a flash embedded page if the Kimili plugin is deactivated.

Can you just use the exclude rule "kimili-flash-embed" instead of a rule for each file?  That probably makes more sense since the PHP code can call JS & CSS dynamically.

Thank you for the suggestion Thaya, but that did not work either. Kimili flash embed puts a javascript expression inline in the header-- could that be part of the problem?

I'm sorry I cannot do very much testing or leave the plugin active-- it messes up my home page pretty bad when the Kimili plugin stops working!

Sounds more complicated.  Sorry, I won't be able to look at it unless you hire me :).

No problem, I'll just delete WP_Minify. I like the idea of the plugin, but I like having my blog work even better!
