Hi.

When one a sub domain like sub.domain.com and WordPress installed in domain/sub/wordpress/ what should I use as path when configuring the plugin ?

The way I have it set up for my development site is just having the path set to empty.

For example:
http://staging.omninoggin.com
has path /wwwroot/staging/wp-installation

I set the path setting in WP Minify options to empty.

I would just try either empty or "staging" to see which one works for you.

Have you tested it with child themes ?

I`m having problems making it pick up all scripts and css when running a child theme.

Try version 2.0.  It should pick up all JS and CSS files now.  It will probably pick up too many, so you might have to exclude some of them (ones that has document.write() in them, which will cause the Minify operation to bonk).
