Why hire me for WordPress development work?

Things I do

• WordPress installation, upgrade, backup, and maintenance
  Even though WordPress is a fairly easy platform to install, not everybody is comfortable with upgrading, backing up, or maintaining a WordPress installation. I will show you how I do things for my site so that you will be comfortable doing it yourself in the future.
• Cloning your installation
  For obvious reasons, I do not recommended that you modify your production WordPress installation directly when you are experimenting with new features. I can help you quickly clone your production installation into a development copy on the same server and teach you how to do it yourself in the future.
• WordPress optimization
  Is your WordPress installation sluggish? Are you losing visitors because your site is slow? I can help your WordPress installation get a better YSlow score. Your visitors will thank you and your site will also be able to handle a higher amount of concurrent traffic.
• Site evaluation and coaching
  Are you not getting enough traffic? Is your visitor bounce rate too high? Do you suffer from low conversion ratio? I can help you identify problematic areas of your site, offer solutions, and fix it.
• WordPress debugging
  Is there something weird with your WordPress installation? I can help you identify and fix any issue you may have.
• WP Greet Box installation and configuration
  WP Greet Box is my most popular plugin that can help you gain subscribers and increase your blog exposure. It works out of the box most of the time, but sometimes it does not. I can help you get it up and running, probably within minutes.
• WP Minify installation and configuration
  WP Minify is one of my plugins that can help you combine, minify, and compress your JavaScript and CSS files. There is enough documentation to get the installation and configuration done yourself, but things can get difficult. I am here to help if you need the help!
• Debugging and troubleshooting on any of my supported WordPress plugins
  Most of my plugins work out of the box and have plenty of documentation. For times when things just aren’t going your way, I can help you with any debugging you need on my supported WordPress plugins.

Things I don’t do

• Graphics design
• WordPress theme design/development from scratch
• Waste your time and money with ineffective, uneducated attempts to solve problems that I don’t understand
• Projects that are against my personal and/or professional ethics. (In other words: If I can’t believe in it, I won’t do it.)

Rates

I charge $50 – $60 / hour depending on the project (rounded up to the nearest half hour)
